Here’s your chance to learn and practice Damascus (pattern welded) steel from one of the best. We’ve seen him weld an amazing conglomeration of implements together into a spendiferous axe (among many other wonderful pieces). Jay will be coming with assembled billet stacks of wrought iron, 5160 and L6 on porter bars for our welding convenience. He’ll bring a few items of his own making for us to admire and covet. Not all Damascus must be made into a blade, you know.  As always, there will be plenty of Jay-style entertainment.  This is not a beginning class, but if you have some hot forging experience, don’t miss this fantastic opportunity!

Now that the class has only one space left we are opening it up for auditors. For $30/day or $50 for the weekend you may attend and soak up all the information and jokes that Jay has to offer on pattern welding. He has quite a lot of both!
